“Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer Highlights Gojo and Geto’s Dynamic Friendship Turned Rivalry”

Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami, has captivated readers and viewers with its eclectic cast of characters. The shonen series embraces the joy of showcasing a diverse range of individuals with peculiar abilities. The anime adaptation by MAPPA has further amplified the charm of the characters, making the first season immensely enjoyable.

Both Gojo and Geto wield significant power and find themselves tasked with protecting a young girl targeted by the deadly assassin, Toji Zenin. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie released last year hinted at the deteriorating relationship between Gojo and Geto, and the “Gojo’s Past” arc will explore how their friendship eventually crumbled into rivalry.

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen showcased the immense strength of Gojo’s powers and the threat they posed to Geto’s plans. While the trailer for the second season doesn’t explicitly reveal it, the latter half of the season will shift back to the present timeline and adapt the manga’s “Shibuya Incident” arc. According to Anime News Network, the entire 24-episode season will air until early 2024, suggesting that the events in present-day Shibuya will likely be featured in the latter part of the season’s first half.

Fans can anticipate the premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 on Crunchyroll, commencing on July 6. Alongside the trailer, MAPPA has also unveiled updated designs for the present-day protagonists, including Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, offering fans a glimpse of their evolved appearances in the upcoming season.
