Alien (1979): The first movie of the Alien franchise happened 19 years after Alien: Covenant. The Nostromo spacecraft is returning to Earth under the command of female captain Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) when it receives a distress signal from a strange ship. It was essentially a warning about the dangers of space that awaited them. The Xenomorph murdered a number of members of Nostromo, before being narrowly defeated by Ellen Ripley, and became a screen icon from here.
Aliens (1986): After the tragedy on the Nostromo, Ellen Ripley is the sole survivor. She fell into a deep sleep in space for 57 years, until she was awakened on a medical ship orbiting the Earth. The heroine continues to uncover the horrifying truth on LV-426 – an asteroid invaded and slaughtered by monsters – and encounters the Xenomorph Queen. Performed by James Cameron, Aliens received up to 7 Oscar nominations and won two gold statues in the technical category.
Alien 3 (1992): Escaped from the burning Sulaco spaceship, the lifeboat 2650 crashes into a prison called Fiorina “Fury” 161. As the sole survivor, Ellen Ripley continues her fierce survival journey as must fight dangerous criminals and a giant alien monster that is the “advanced” version of Xenomorph. Most terrible of all, Ellen discovered that she was still carrying a “monster fetus”. Thanks to it, she was able to escape danger from the monster but was hunted by the humans themselves.
Alien: Resurrection (1997): Episode four of the series begins with the revival of protagonist Ellen Ripley more than 200 years after the events of Alien 3. Military scientists decide to clone cells from the body. her parasitic infection into mighty monster warriors. Fortunately, Ellen Ripley’s consciousness still exists and Ellen’s 8th clone decides to smash the shady plan on the Auriga ship whose destination is Earth.
