Jujutsu Kaisen Unveils Gojo’s Unexpected Edge Against Sukuna

Posted on June 5, 2023June 4, 2023 by CharlotteM

In the latest chapter of the highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen manga, the thrilling Culling Game arc reaches a pivotal moment as the first of the climactic final battles takes place. This intense confrontation unveils a surprising advantage that Satoru Gojo possesses against Sukuna, the formidable King of Curses.

Throughout the Culling Game arc, Megumi Fushiguro has faced one devastating loss after another. From his inability to save his sister Tsumiki from the clutches of the deadly tournament to the subsequent possession of his body by Sukuna, Megumi’s journey has been fraught with hardship. However, a glimmer of hope emerges as Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of the present, reenters the fray and takes center stage once again.

With Gojo making his first move against Sukuna in the previous chapter, readers are finally treated to the long-awaited combat between the indomitable sorcerer and the fearsome King of Curses. However, the situation is complicated by the fact that Sukuna has taken over Megumi’s body, a strategic move aimed at hindering Gojo’s ability to fight at his best. Yet, Gojo has a surprising revelation up his sleeve.

Gojo divulges that he has undergone special training in preparation for this particular battle. He assures that despite Megumi’s appearance, which is meant to evoke a sense of hesitation within him, he will have no qualms about engaging in combat with his possessed student. In fact, Gojo reveals that seeing Megumi’s face reminds him strikingly of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi’s father, who was a significant figure in his life.

Interestingly, Gojo’s connection to Toji Fushiguro carries profound implications for the battle at hand. Having experienced the tragic loss of a student in the past when Sukuna killed Yuji, Gojo has already grappled with the intense emotions and pain associated with such an event. Consequently, this prior experience has forged within him a newfound fearlessness, enabling him to cast aside any inhibitions or reservations he might have had.

This unwavering resolve means that Gojo can now focus wholeheartedly on confronting Sukuna, unleashing his full power without fear of witnessing another student’s demise. It serves as a significant advantage over Sukuna, who may have underestimated Gojo’s ability to overcome the emotional obstacles posed by Megumi’s presence.

As the stage is set for the ultimate clash between these two titanic forces, readers are left eagerly anticipating the explosive outcome of the battle. Will Gojo’s unexpected advantage be enough to turn the tides and secure victory against the King of Curses? The future of Jujutsu Kaisen hangs in the balance as the intense Culling Game arc hurtles towards its thrilling climax.
