Jujutsu Kaisen unveils Gojo’s most destructive move to date

In the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo unleashes his most devastating attack yet, showcasing his immense power. The manga has always portrayed Gojo as one of the series’ most formidable characters, and now that he is free and facing off against Sukuna, the full extent of his destructive abilities is on display.

Chapter #223, translated by John Werry, focuses on Gojo and his allies as they engage in battle with Sukuna. To establish his superiority, Gojo unleashes an amplified version of his Hollow Purple attack. By having Utahime utilize her Solo Forbidden Area cursed technique to enhance his cursed energy output, Gojo achieves a power level of 200 percent, resulting in a destructive blast that obliterates buildings and deals severe damage to Sukuna’s arm.

Gojo’s Hollow Purple technique combines the Hollow Blue and Hollow Red techniques, utilizing the manipulation of his Limitless inherited technique. Hollow Purple manifests as a spheroid attack that annihilates anything it comes into contact with. This technique, along with his defensive use of the Limitless technique and his Unlimited Void Domain Expansion, contributes to Gojo’s formidable prowess.

As the battle between Gojo and Sukuna unfolds, it is expected that Gojo will unleash even more powerful versions of his abilities. The amplification provided by Utahime’s technique may no longer be in effect, but Gojo’s anger over Megumi’s possession by Sukuna will drive him to fight with all his might. Additionally, Sukuna’s own upgrades since their last encounter make it crucial for Gojo to go all out.

While Sukuna is the only character in Jujutsu Kaisen capable of potentially defeating Gojo, it remains a challenging task. Sukuna possesses immense innate power and wields Megumi’s cursed techniques, making him an extremely formidable opponent. Ultimately, it may be narratively fitting for Sukuna to overcome Gojo, allowing Yuji to be the one to ultimately vanquish the King of Curses. However, Gojo’s unparalleled power and mastery of Cursed Techniques make it no easy feat.
