Bleach is a popular shonen anime and manga series that has captivated audiences around the world with its unique blend of action, drama, comedy, and supernatural elements. The story follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper after accidentally acquiring them from Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who was injured while protecting Ichigo’s family.
Throughout the series, Ichigo and his friends, both human and Soul Reaper, face formidable foes and explore complex alliances and betrayals as they uncover the truth about the Soul Society and the living world. The series is known for its engaging storyline, dynamic characters, and epic fight scenes.
The final story arc of the Bleach manga is known as Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, which sees the arrival of the powerful Quincy army led by the enigmatic Yhwach. The Quincy seek to invade the Soul Society and destroy the Soul King, which would upset the balance between the worlds of the living and the dead. As the war intensifies, Ichigo and his friends are forced to make challenging decisions about their allegiances and the future of the universe.
The first part of the anime adaptation of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War concluded in December 2022, with the Wandenreich declaring war against the Soul Society and the beginning of Ichigo’s ultimate fight. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the anime for the second part, titled Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War – The Separation, which is set to premiere in July 2023.
To hype up the anticipation for the upcoming installment, Shueisha, the publisher of the Bleach manga, has announced that it will release a new music video featuring scenes from the anime. The music video is part of the Jump MV project, a collaboration between Weekly Shonen Jump works and Sony Music Group artists, which focuses on anime theme songs. The fourth song in the collaboration MV features Asterisk, a song by Orange Range, which was the opening theme song for the Bleach anime series.
The music video is said to include drawings from the original manga and will premiere on Sunday, May 14, at 8 pm JST on the official JUMP YouTube channel. Fans of Bleach are excited to see their favorite characters brought to life once again in this new music video, which will serve as a reminder of the epic battles and emotional moments that have made the series so beloved.
