The ceremony, which took place in Paris on Monday night, revealed the finest male and female footballers of the year, with Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain and Alexia Putellas of Barcelona taking home the respective awards.
Alonso and Ocon performed a crucial part in ensuring that the ‘Golden Ball’ awards arrived safely at the venue, wearing suits and special helmets on stage.
